Ashley Bickerton was a never ending torrent of talk. I will miss him greatly. An astute conversationalist and visionary using the subject of consumption and globalization in relation to art itself. I first met Ashley on the the phone while still a student. I think I asked him for a contribution to a manifesto I was publishing at the time. It was a hotline into a world of politics and the New York artworld. Incisively critical of most human activity – a sociologist as artist. A Malthusian. Here at Pravda. @ashleybickerton
