Our efforts are working!! The media is finally taking some notice (not enough but it’s a start) 🙏 As much as @cnn sucks, I’m happy they found one of the many unsung heroes on the ground and gave him their huge platform to speak. Thank you anonymous hero !!! I’m calling him Captain Iran 💪 He’s right that this is a one way road for Iranians. It’s no longer protests. It’s a revolution and it’s just begun. WE WILL WIN. We will get our country back. #deathtoalldictators #iranianrevolution2022 #freeiran #iran #mahsaamini #humanrights #womensrights #freedom
It blows my mind that the Islamic Regime wasn’t even in power for a single month before tens of thousands of Iranian women poured into the streets to protest their very sudden loss of rights. This image is from this very day, 44 years ago. March 8, 1979. Only 25 days into Khomeini’s dictatorship. And only ONE day after Khomeini announces that the hijab would now be mandatory. The women of Iran wasted no time. There were not only tens of thousands of them protesting in Tehran, but also 3000 protesters that day in Qom, one of the most significant holy cities in Shi’a Islam and where Khomeini resided at the time. The women protesting were immediately beaten up by Khomeini’s violent extremist followers and the rest of their rights were swiftly obliterated. Since then, Iranian women and men have fought back against this dictatorship in a constant string of uprisings and protests, spanning decades. But the Regime knows no mercy, so they squash any sliver of the people’s longing for freedom, humanity, democracy, and basic human decency, with the brute force of Neanderthals. And the rest of the world allows it. The rest of the world shakes their hands, laughs with them, does deals with them. March 8, 1979 to March 8, 2023 – it’s been a loooooong 44 years for Iranian women. #iwd2023 #iwd #internationalwomensday #canthisnightmarebeovernow
THE FURY is an exhibition of new works by @shirin__neshat , which includes a double-channel video installation starring me. The exhibit is up until March 4th at @gladstone.gallery (515 West 24th Street, NYC) for anyone who wants to see it. This video explores the psychological prison of trauma that many survivors of the Islamic Regime are unable to escape, even after they are released from captivity. Shirin told me about this project back in 2021 and we filmed it in June 2022, a few months before the current revolution in Iran began. At the time, we had no idea what was about to unfold in our mother country and how closely it would relate to this work. This video, just like the brutality it portrays, precedes the current moment. Someday very soon, Iran will be free of its deranged captors. The world will accept that they were played by a bunch of smirking terrorists in religious costumes.
Turkmen Sahra – Golestan, Iran ♥️ dreaming of freedom and safety for Iran and all of its people. #freeiran #stopexecutionsiniran #freepoliticalprisoners #deathtodictators

The shoulders which we stand on are sturdy af and so ahead of their time, that they still lead us today. Here is a small sampling of the many powerful Persian women whose spirit they could not kill, who still guide us from the grave. Here is a small sampling of the reason why the Islamic regime has always been so terrified of Persian women and their futuristic power, intelligence, sophistication, and beauty. #freeiran #iranrevolution #mahsaamini #zhinaamini #womensrights #humanrights
Please never forget the breathtaking majesty of our culture, our people and our land. This stunning ceremony is an ancient Kurdish ritual that is still alive today. I believe it’s called Pir Shalyar and I’ve learned some beautiful facts about it! It’s over 950 years old and whatever your role is in the ceremony (whether it’s playing the Daf (the traditional drum you’re hearing), dancing, cooking, etc.) is the same role your ancestors played every generation before you. It is passed down to you through centuries and everyone accepts this. They do not switch their roles. And another beautiful interesting fact is that this ritual is an intersection btwn Zoroastrianism (the religion of Iran before Islam) AND Islam. The people of Hawraman are Sunni Muslims, but they still keep Zoroastrian traditions alive. Despite the fact that the Islamic Regime does EVERYTHING it can to erase these beautiful people and their beautiful traditions. But let’s never allow this. Let’s never forget. Thank you @farshadsayshi for showing this to me. I’m obsessed. It gives me goosebumps. I can’t wait to visit this place when we get our country back ❤️🔥 Lastly – while I want to keep things positive, I gotta tell you guys this – I was going to post this video when I woke up yesterday. But then I saw there was another bloody massacre in the same region as this video. I’m not exaggerating when I say they are trying to erase all this culture and glory. It’s under siege as we speak. So please keep talking about and supporting #Iran #iranrevolution 💪❤️🔥 it’s so important to keep exposing *their brutality. But don’t forget *our beauty and *our strength. Don’t forget how powerful we are. When I see this video, how together this mountain of people are, I feel the power in my bones. I will share a link and some more info on Pir Shalyar in my stories now 🙂
Trash can queen! Oscar the Grouchess. Just a trash can girl, living in a trash can world. I’m feeding the creepy algorithm this hot trashy pic, so that I can keep posting about Iran without getting shadow ban. love u guys. Love you Iran ❤️🔥 we are so freakin close to freeing our country and our people!! It’s surreal. Iranians have all dreamt of this for so long and it is right on the verge of reality! 💪💚🤍❤️🔥
These barbaric monsters have been holding Iran hostage for over 4 decades now. They have been killing our people, silencing our voices and trying to erase our culture the whole time. The people in Iran fighting back against this viscous dictatorship are so brave and strong. I pray for their safety and wish that there was more we could all do to help free Iran. #mahsaamini #jinaamini #zhinaamini #Mahsa_Amini #iran #iranprotests
