This is the famed Manikarnika Ghat in Kaashi by the river Ganga adjoining Kaashi Vishwanath temple. I just wanted to see the ghats & the boats this afternoon and was walking around casually but somehow ended up at this funeral place. Most surreal experience of my life…
They say that here the pyres burn 24 hours, 365 days a year and have been for thousands of years since the time of Sati Mata. I just stood there transfixed at the scene in front of me…
Later dipped my feet in the Ganga & put few drops in my mouth too. Honored my traditional Hindu roots & I think closed the chapter of my ancestral/ prarabdha karma. I don’t know why it came to my mind to do this act & what it means for a living person but I obeyed.
Then I went to a nearby shaktipeeth and sat in deep peacefull meditation. This Kaashi trip was very different & unusual experience for me as opposed to Ujjain.

I sometimes feel like there’s a higher chance of me resurrecting after death, walking on water & waking up the dead etc than my filmy career resurrecting to my liking after the #metoo movement 🤣🤣🤣
But then..you never know..miracles do happen quite a bit around me..😶🧐
Can’t explain the eerie supernatural peace and stillness that descends on me sometimes…
Its like another higher conciousness is taking over me gently…
It feels good…like I’m never going to be alone ever….this marriage is real…
Like..I can rest now..I can surrender..it is finished…it is done…it is starting to feel compleete now.

It started raining today as I entered this ancient and powerfull Jyotirlinga temple Kaashi Vishwanath at Varanasi…I walked in the rain and went through the security barricades of the temple. As I stepped into the temple aangan with pristine white marble floors I wept spontaneously & tears rolled out of my eyes. It felt so overwhelming yet familiar like I have been there before. I know I was in another life. I sat around there for over an hour & meditated soaking up the good stuff. Everything was familiar..the vibe..the energy..So much light..its luminous…Something wonderfull is on my way…He told me through my intuition and a priest in Kaal Bhairav said the same after looking at me…I’m being prepared… श्री काशी विश्वनाथ मंदिर, वाराणसी

He cannot be grasped fully by the mind…The heart though is a different matter…
The heart can expand faster than the mind..because it cannot be trapped by logic..
The mind can sometimes resist unto death..The heart can love while it lives….and beyond..
Thus the ancient saints like Meera and Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu started the devotion/bhakti movement in an attempt to explain what they knew and experienced on a daily basis…Their words & logic failed them so they sang praise and worship!
Better to sing when there’s nothing left to say….
