I can’t believe it’s been 6 months… and I’m a day late. But, Scouty would understand and expect nothing less. I’m always late. In this picture, we are revealing that my baby, my 5th and final baby is a BOY. Scouty was such a creative. We bonded over so many things during our 21 year friendship but love of crafting was one of them. He was such an amazing DIY’er. From party planning to home decor to the most amazing dessert tables. He truly could do it all. So, for the gender reveal of our fifth and final baby I asked Scouty if he would do us the honors of unveiling the reveal. It was Christmas time 2016 and while our family went out Guncle Scouty @scoutmasterson and Guncle Billy @thebillhorn and cousins Simone and Boz decorated the tree. When we walked in we walked into our living room to see the most beautiful baby blue decorated Christmas tree 🌲. We were blown away. All so excited to learn we had a baby boy { Beau} baking in my belly. Well, all of us except a 4 year old Hattie who started crying because she wanted the baby to be a girl 😂. We take small moments like this and the feel of a friend or family member’s hug for granted. Then, when you realize you’ll never experience it again you long for it. Wish you could get that time back and not take it for granted. You always think you’ll have time with the ones you love but the reality is life is so precious and you never know what will happen. I know Scouty is so proud of everything Billy is doing for the family. So proud of the father he is. And, so proud of how well his kids are adjusting to what is an impossible situation. The Masterson-Horns are such a brave, strong, kind, and loving family. Missing you Scouty. xoxo

Can’t believe my baby is 6 today…Beau is the light and soul of our entire family. He brings such joy and laughs into my life, his dad’s life, and all of his siblings. Finality is a hard thing for me. Knowing Beau was the last was tough because I love the journey of pregnancy so much. And, every second of motherhood. But knowing Beau in the physical sense for 6 years now it all makes perfect sense. He completes all of us. He is so special. So kind. So smart. And, so darn funny! We celebrate you everyday Beau Beau Bear! I love you with all my heart. I always thank all of my babies for choosing me to guide and love them thru this lifetime. I thank you Beau for this final gift of motherhood. We are a good pair. My cuddler. My love! I love you forever Beau Dean. xoxo

Where has the time gone? My Liam Aaron made me a mother for the first time. The moment I knew he was growing inside me my whole life changed. For the better. I knew I’d never be alone. My whole life journey and perspective shifted. It all became about him. Taking care of and guiding him thru this lifetime and his brothers and sisters that would come after. The moment I held him in my arms I knew such overwhelming love. A deep love I’d never known before. I knew there and then I’d do everything in my power to protect him and nurture him and love him with all my heart and soul. I remember moms of older kids would say “cherish these moments for they are fleeting. They grow up so fast”. And, then just like that I blinked and you are now 16. Taller than me. Taking care of me in so many ways. Protecting me. I have to stand on my tippy toes to hug you. But, you’ll forever be my baby. My first baby that taught me my purpose in this crazy world. I love that you still let me call you Monkey. Grateful actually. I love your strength, humor, quick wit, eclectic taste, heart, kind soul, and the bond we have as mother and son. It’s so special. You are so special. I can’t believe you can now get your license monkey and DRIVE! Wow! What a wild ride this is. Thanks for choosing me to go on it with you. I love you with all my heart and soul.
