I’m still an ice bath rookie but managed to work up to 6 min in 43 degree water (to start I could only so 10 seconds at 50 degrees😂).
Biggest benefits I’ve noticed are:
-Reduced inflammation
-Definitely a sustained increase in dopamine (improves mood)
-improves recovery
-improves metabolism (leaner)
Other benefits:

-improves resilience to get through stressful environments (huge increase in epinephrine and norepinephrine)

When I first started skiing Vail 30 years ago I had a local tell me about the iconic mogul run combo “Prima-Pronto-Log Chute” to chair 10, then finish off with one of the best mogul runs in the country “Highline” (also known as PPL10).
This was my first time skiing it with Lucas… and in a t-shirt🤪

At age 2 1/2, Cameron was diagnosed with a degenerative bone disease called Legge Calve Perthes. He wore a large A-frame metal brace for four years – night and day. Cameron learned to walk again at the age of 7. Then, in 2019, he battled kidney cancer.
He’s not just overcome these challenges, he’s triumphed, but not without struggle.
