Gustaf Skarsgård Instagram – It’s strange how aesthetics circle back and how affected we are by it. I always perceived the building housing the Swedish Film Institute as something grey and depressing, now I am surprised to find it really beautiful. Either way, it’s always nostalgic to be back. I’ve been coming here to work for 35 years, since I was a little kid, and I am reminded of how much training, work, creativity and fun i had access to as a direct result of the strong cultural policies of the Sweden I grew up in. I’m forever in debt for that. People often wonder how a small country like Sweden can be so prolific and eminent in the arts, that’s why! Immense state funding in the arts for the youth.
