Shocked and saddened to hear about the passing of Lance Reddick. Such a great actor and a truly beautiful human being. Rest in peace.
#AnnualPortraitProject continues…
Here’s how I made the head on my Krampus costume. I had an old Wolfman mask where the latex on the face was starting to get crunchy. So I cut it out and kept the fur cowl figuring I’d use it for something someday. Then when this Krampus project showed up I thought it was a good place to start. I watched a horn making video on YouTube from @stiltbeaststudios. Basically you form the horns out of EVA foam. Then paint them with liquid nails to give them a nice texture. Then paint them to your liking once they dry. To attach them I made a couple of cylindrical bases which I poked through holes in the fur and contact cemented the horns to those nubs. Voila. Turned out way better than I had expected on my first try. I also got some help from my wife adding fur around the face and sewing those fur legs for me.

Her mom says she pointed at it and said, “Dada.” But she says “Dada” to almost everything.
Hey folks if you’re in the LA area, I’m doing a play! Saturdays and Sundays at Theatre 68 Arts Complex from February 25th through April 2nd. Put a link for tickets in my bio. #LetMeIn #LAThtr … LET ME IN Life takes a surprising turn for the bride’s best friend and the intended groom when a wedding becomes a funeral in the premiere of Let Me In, a dark-ish comedy about love and loss that’s (most probably) based on true events. … TRIGGER WARNING: The plays talks about suicide, if you need help or want to talk to someone, dial or text 988 for the Suicide and Crisis Lifeline … 📷 Jeff Lorch
This movie with this man is one of the reasons I’m an actor today. Rest in peace.

Big improvements in this year’s cookie decorating technique. If we keep this up I might not be able to call them abominations anymore. A few of my highlights include Were-deer, Sunblock Beefcake, & Howard-the-Duck-dressed-as-a-lady? #xmascookieabominations

#Repost @pftompkins ・・・ An impossible amount of thanks to everyone who attended Varietopia last night. I love the audiences that come out for this show so much. It was a dream to have one show containing Jorge Gracia, Lauren Lapkus, Murs, Nicole Parker, and Brian Bahe. Thank you as ever to Mr. Jordan Katz and the incredible Varietorchestra (maybe let Vikram be in the picture next time). And thank you to Lodge Room for giving us a place to do this. Merry Christmas to All and see you back at Lodge Room in March 2023!
