I am deeply honoured. Thank you @kiituniversity and @dr.achyutasamanta , founder of #KISS and @kiituniversity . It’s a cliche but it’s absolutely true that there is a whole army of people @rugbyindia that work together to make this game nobler and India’s performances even better. Their names, though not visible, are etched in the soil of every rugby ground in this country. I share this honour with every single person who has contributed and cared for this game in the past and in the present. I would also like to congratulate @abhinav_bindra @leanderpaes @diliptirkeyhockey #viswanathananand who also received a similar honour on the day.

I have a thing for swimming pools. A cursory glance at my posts / reels and you’ll get that v quickly. This one in #kolkata has to be one of the coolest. The view is (I baulk at using this word, abused as it is on a daily basis in this country) iconic – Eden Garden, Vidyasagar Setu, Victoria Memorial… And it’s all yours for the taking as you do laps at the @glenburnpenthouse rooftop pool. One of my most memorable swims. #kolkatamonamour
One of the most naturally talented sportspersons I have ever met, @leanderpaes would have definitely played for India had he continued playing rugby (yes, he was also a rugby player). Many congratulations Lee, on having having the tennis center @kiituniversity being named after you. Looking forward to what you have to offer @rugbyindia with your initiative to build the physical, mental and emotional health of elite athletes. Cheers.
