I remember the day when Sunila Anand Karir and I started penning down the script of AAPDI THAAPDI. We were sure that this simple and beautiful story has to be written and made in an equally ‘pure’ way. It was our little tribute to the beautiful stories of Malgudi Days, which shaped up many childhoods. Now to get the Ma.Ta. Samaan ‘Think Pure Cinema award’ for AAPDI THAAPDI means we did reach closer to the goal we set out to achieve.
Many hugs to Shreyas Talpade , Mukta Barve, Nandu Madhav , Sandeep Pathak, Navin Prabhakar, Khushi Hazare shared the enthusiasm and joined me in bringing this story to life.
