കടൽക്കരയിലെ മരങ്ങൾക്കിടയിലൂടെ
കഴിഞ്ഞ ജന്മം നമ്മൾ നടക്കുമായിരുന്നു
വിചിത്രമായിരുന്നു നമ്മുടെ പേരുകൾ
അന്നേരമെല്ലാം വീടുകൾ നമ്മളെയോ
നമ്മൾ വീടുകളെയോ
തീർത്തും ഉപേക്ഷിച്ചിരുന്നു
കടൽക്കരയിലെ നടത്തത്തിനിടയിൽ
എന്റെ നീളൻ ഉടുപ്പിന്റെ തുമ്പുകൾ
ഉപ്പുകാറ്റിനോട് സദാ യുദ്ധം ചെയ്യുമായിരുന്നു
നീയന്നേരം കപ്പിത്താന് മാത്രമറിയുന്ന
കടൽ രാത്രികളെ കുറിച്ച്
പാട്ടു പാടുമായിരുന്നു…
പാട്ടിലെല്ലാം നക്ഷത്ര മീനുകൾ
കുതിച്ചു പൊങ്ങുമായിരുന്നു.
വിരലുകൾ കോർത്ത് നമ്മൾ മുന്നോട്ട് നടക്കുമ്പോൾ
മണൽക്കട്ടകൾ ഉരുട്ടുന്ന ഞണ്ടുകൾ
തിരക്കിട്ട് പിന്നോട്ടോടിയിരുന്നില്ലേ ?
എത്രയോടിയാലും മടങ്ങിപ്പോകാൻ കഴിയാത്തതാണ്
ഭൂതകാലമെന്ന് നമുക്കന്ന് അവരോട്
പറയാമായിരുന്നു… !!
പകരം നമ്മൾ ഉപ്പുകാറ്റേറ്റ് തണുത്ത ഉമ്മകൾ കൊണ്ട്
ചുണ്ടുകൾ കോർക്കുക മാത്രം ചെയ്തു…!
ഞാനിപ്പോൾ ഒരു കടൽക്കരയിൽ നിന്ന്
നിന്റെ പേരോർത്തെടുക്കാൻ പണിപ്പെടുകയാണ്
ഭീമൻ തിര മുറിച്ച് ഭൂതകാലത്തിലേക്ക് പായുന്നൊരു കപ്പൽ വരുമെന്നു
വെറുതെ പ്രതീക്ഷിക്കുകയാണ് !
ഓ ! നക്ഷത്രമീനുകൾ കുതിച്ചു പൊങ്ങുന്ന
