Barnacle in a return to form in his solo cupboard routine. It’s @melbcomedyfestival time, and what better way to promote my show than make you watch another cattesthenics video? Guest competitors all the way from Ontario. Siblings Bruce and Gina, competing as @my.jerk.cats put on a stunning show. One night off in Melbourne tonight, then on to Canberra tomorrow. Having just a terrible time with two strangers who accosted me on the street. OR NOT. The first of many @superhiromelbourne hangs this festival with these beauts, @kirstywebeck and @theclairehooper (missing: @geraldinehickey). We all had lovely opening nights, and Lotus Root chips which is the best combination. Also saw @rose.y.bishop’s show Feral, which has bonkers hilarious stories and the best description of a greyhound I’ve ever heard. So far my favourite Irrational Aggravations from the audience have been “people at work who say something’s awesome. It’s a PowerPoint. Kipper takes the lead in an entrancing doubles routine with Barnacle. Fewer moves from him but a very grounding presence for the Cattesthenics Ingénue.
