Dear 19 year old me,
You’re about to begin a chapter of your life that will change you forever. Throughout this journey you will have breakups, makeups, laughter, love, and many tears. You’re going to meet lots of people. Some good and some bad. Some who will have your back, and some who will stab you in it. Learn to differentiate between the two. Trust me, the good ones will be worth it.
There will be moments when you’ll be pushed to stray away from your genuine self – please say no. It will be hard at times and you won’t be perfect. You’ll make mistakes and that’s ok. Just never lose sight of who you are and who your family raised you to be. Speaking of family, cherish them. They’re the ones who truly want the best for you. They love you for you, not for what you can do for them, and that is a BIG difference.
You’re going to have to grow up quick. Your life will be on display for everyone to see. You don’t understand what that means right now but you will soon. You’ll find out that there are people out there who will say anything they can to bring you down. But don’t worry, soon you’ll find out that there are also really great people. People who watch your life and can relate, people who support you and defend you every chance they get. People who see you for who you truly are. You don’t know it yet, but these people will be a big part of the reason you make it through. Your future boyfriend will help you too, he’s pretty cool😉

Life has been pretty wild these past few months. As most of you know a huge chapter of my life has closed. The show has ended for me, but that doesn’t mean my story is over. In fact, I truly believe the best part of life is just beginning.♥️ I really want to continue updating y’all with my life and thankfully social media is the perfect outlet to do so! So here’s a little life update…
Max & I did not get the home we put an offer on a few months ago, however we decided that we did want to go ahead and move in together. Honestly the transition has been way more seamless than I would’ve expected (I was scared how it would be living with a guy for the first time) but we are truly loving it. He enjoys cleaning the dishes (which is weird) but hey I’ll take it😂.
We also started doing weekly family dinners with my parents, brother, and grandparents. If the last few years have taught me anything it’s how important family is and I really wanted to make it a point to spend more time with them.
Max and I also decided it might be fun to take on a side hustle together so we recently created @mkbphotography__ which has been so much fun because we get to use my modeling background, max’s photography skills, and get the opportunity to meet some of you! We are so excited to see where this goes and can’t thank y’all enough for all of the support so far!

If you would’ve told me years ago that at 26 I’d live in Florida, own my own home, have a goofy little boxer, the guy of my dreams, and most importantly peace in my heart that I’m suppose to be right here I wouldn’t believe you. This past year has really tested me, but I feel with every part of my being that everything happened as it should & I’m exactly where I’m meant to be…let me tell you that feeling is pretty amazing. There’s so much I’m grateful for including my friends, family, and this Instagram family we’ve gotten to all build together. Thank you everyone for all the sweet birthday wishes! It means so much🤍 I can’t wait to see what this year has in store for me!
