Throughout this journey you will have breakups, makeups, laughter, love, and many tears. You’re going to meet lots of people. Some good and some bad. Some who will have your back, and some who will stab you in it. Learn to differentiate between the two. Trust me, the good ones will be worth it. There will be moments when you’ll be pushed to stray away from your genuine self – please say no. It will be hard at times and you won’t be perfect. You’ll make mistakes and that’s ok. Just never lose sight of who you are and who your family raised you to be. Speaking of family, cherish them. They’re the ones who truly want the best for you. They love you for you, not for what you can do for them, and that is a BIG difference. You’re going to have to grow up quick. Your life will be on display for everyone to see. You don’t understand what that means right now but you will soon. You’ll find out that there are people out there who will say anything they can to bring you down. But don’t worry, soon you’ll find out that there are also really great people. People who watch your life and can relate, people who support you and defend you every chance they get. People who see you for who you truly are. You don’t know it yet, but these people will be a big part of the reason you make it through. Your future boyfriend will help you too, he’s pretty cool😉 You’ll learn a lot on this journey. You’re going to love it at times and hate it at others, but it’s an important one. It will teach you lessons that you will carry with you for the rest of your life. Ultimately the closing of this chapter will not be your choice. It will come as a shock to you and it will hurt, but I promise you you’ll be just fine. You’ll look back and be so damn proud of the woman you’ve become.
