I have had a year, years,
A day, days,
A week, weeks,
Emotions and an acute lack of them,
And I’ve secretly hoped all this catharsis would be artistic,
And that the art would pay off.

But that isn’t the nature of art or existence, is it?

There is pay off in capitalism,
Art and existence just are –

Encompassing everything,
Devoid of everything.

Does it make sense? Maybe.
Does it not? Who cares?

But do we have anything else?
Nope.

Do I absolutely need anything else?
No.
