Samyuktha Hegde Instagram – Are you really happy in the today and now? Cause most of us aren’t I had the opportunity of staying at the art of living and experiencing life like it should be. We are living in a fear driven, depressed, violent and materialistic world where we are constantly delaying happiness. We choose the next big thing in our lives to be happy about than the big things you have already achieved, we choose the things that we want to buy over the things that we already have, we choose the future to be happy in than being happy in the now I have been living a pretty content life, no matter what problems in my life i always go out there and choose to be happy, I choose to multiply the positive energy than dwell on the negative stuff. Living in a world of negativity and judgemental people sometimes i wonder if I’m too kiddish for being transparent and happy all the time because people around me are more serious but doing the sudharshan kriya made me realise that the best way of living life is choosing happiness in the now and believing in it and not letting other’s opinions get to you! This last week after coming back from the ashram I’ve been more productive than I’ve been in agessss, I’m not postponing anything, my temper with my family has come down drastically and I’m choosing to face reality with a smile on my face. Just three days of this made such a substantial difference in my life This doesn’t mean that we shouldn’t aim to achieve more, earn more, or do more than what we are doing but it just means be content and grateful with what you have today. Be content that you are alive and well Be happy in the present! Life is filled with failures and disappointments but being able to train your mind to choose happiness is really the one achievement we all need!
