Stretching ensures the joints are well lubricated, mobile and all set to move through full range of motion during the exercises.
Tight muscles are prone to injury and negatively affect quality of life. Even day to day activities seem to be a daunting task due to stiffness in body.
In the post are just a few of various mobility and flexibility exercises I do before the main exercises or on days dedicated to just stretching.
Caution-
If you are a tyro, make sure you perform these exercises under supervision of an experienced professional who will prescribe drills according to your unique flexibility limits and fitness level.
