What is your relationship with your body?
When I was growing up there was no such term as “body positivity”
For years I was so mean to my body. In my 20s, I used to starve all day, stuff my face at night and wake up guilty and hating myself. This was my pattern.
I was always mean to my belly, my thighs. I used to talk down to my body.
It was a toxic relationship!
Even now, when my belly sticks out, I get mad at myself and have to remind myself – to be nice. Be nice to your cute belly Shenaz 🙂
It’s been an up and down relationship through the years and I wish I could say I am finally in a place where I don’t care. But I do!
Not as much of course but I do care -a little.
Yes, I eat a lot but I am very careful about what I eat. I still make sure I do some form of exercise at least 5 times a week.
I work hard to keep this body strong and healthy and aesthetic. And I am proud to say that – I can still wear a bikini 👙 today and feel sexy!!!
Are you nice to your body? Talk to me. Goa, India

I’m so thrilled to be here at the Australian Open but I know my Dad is even more thrilled to see me here as he is a huge tennis fan.
Hopefully next time I will be able to bring my dad and mom too! ♥️ I am so grateful to Kia for bringing me here. This whole experience has inspired me to continue to follow my passions and has affirmed that I am on the right path.

Happy New Year!!!
What lessons will you carry forward in 2023? What did you learn from 2022?
These were my lessons from 2022
Hope I learn from them and carry them into 2023 ; I’m sure I will make many mistakes this year too but what’s life about if it’s not from learning from our mistakes and even sometimes repeating them again and again till we figure it out.

Photo dump of my weekend in Fort Kochi. It is one of my favourite places in the world. I love this little heritage town on the water with all the artsy cafés. Also Kerala cuisine is my favourite in the world. Most of all I love the trees in Fort Kochi; big tall, thick and glorious. They don’t honk as much here. The people are as sweet as the mango 🥭 payasam. Yes it’s HOT 🥵 and I was sweating like a tap all day but it was worth it.
This was my third biennale. I almost didn’t make it but managed to get here on the last weekend. So happy that I did ❤️
I love you Fort Kochi. This is one of the few places in India I could make my home despite the heat and the mosquitoes;) ❤️🙏🏾🥵😎🦟
P.S. I always stay at The Brunton Boatyard Hotel when I visit Fort Kochi. Not only is it the most sustainable hotel (CGH Earth group @cghearth is all eco friendly and truly sustainable) but it’s also the prettiest. It’s a sea facing property and my favourite thing to do is to just lounge in the pool and look out at huge cargo ships 🚢 sailing by. @bruntonboatyard_cghearth ( reel to follow)

The main thing I want from 2023 is –
A good, loving, emotionally mature, fulfilling, stable healthy, relaxed relationship with a sexy man that I find peace, love and fun with!
And
A nice beautiful home!! – maybe we even move in together.
But that would be too soon, considering I haven’t met this mystery man yet! 😅
All right. That’s me! What do YOU want from 2023?

Here are a few of the new buzzing restaurants that I tried in Goa!
Hosa
It’s one of the only restaurants in Siolim, opposite the church. The food was soooo yummy. I love the South Indian fusion vibe. They have a pretty spectacular bar too.
Thalassa
New Thalassa in Mandrem
Also has rooms
Nice, on the beach but it felt too big and commercial for me.
Mystras
Another one in assagaon! Assagaon is becoming the culinarily capital of India 😅
Was in a old Portuguese house. Had a beautiful bar. The food was delicious too!
Izumi
I’m a fan of Izumi in Mumbai so I had to check out Izumi goa. Nice swimming pool vibe, top notch food. Of course!
