Aksel Lund Svindal Instagram – I’ve always been a big fan of motorsports. It’s extremely dynamic and for someone who likes to turn it’s fascinating to see the way a race car is being handled around a track at full speed. So i took on a challenge this year. Try to learn how to handle a Porsche Cup car. And just to be clear, it’s tougher than I thought😅. I knew the level of the drivers in Carrara Cup would be very high, so it was never an ambition to be very competitive. But I can honestly say I’m surprised by how much skill it takes to drive a race car with no help systems. No electronics or ABS to help you out or give you a warning when you step over your limits. But I have a great team. So with the help from these guys I’m gonna learn this step by step. Thanks!
And watching F1 or any other category on TV has given me even more respect for racing. Imagine the precision. 50 laps of high speed racing comes down to centimeter precision. Fighting for the win, but also further back in the grid, fighting to keep your seat in the team.
