He walked me through the innovative work he’s doing to meet the needs of all his students, including building strong relationships, increasing classroom belonging, incorporating student voice, and collecting feedback on his own performance from students themselves. Teachers like Amilcar—and their work to create collaborative, motivating, and engaging learning experiences—are worth celebrating. #teacherappreciationweek
