D.B. Woodside Instagram – I recently returned from Washington DC. I had some time to see the sights as pictured here and I’m hoping the photos will bring attention to this post. The real purpose for my trip was I had received an invitation by the Brady Organization to take part in a round table discussion with other colleagues from the entertainment industry on how we can assist promoting better gun safety. I had a thoughtful and inclusive conversation with @arthomastv, @ohadambrody, @piperperabo, many executives and more. Gun violence in the U.S. has a disproportionate impact on Black and Brown communities and is a major contributor to racial inequality. While none of us can fix this alone, especially overnight, I walked away feeling optimistic about what we and specifically me can be doing to help. More on that real soon.
