It’s gonna be mostly cat-content from now on, so… BUCKLE-UP! But he CRAWLED INTO OUR LUGGAGE and started to make sad pitiful noises while we were packing for this NYC trip. And I miss him! Friends I haven’t seen in a few years reading how attached I’ve become to a cat may be wondering if I’ve had a lobotomy. Another big announcement: I’m officially a CAT GUY! Sorry (not sorry!) 😻

Best Batman w Worst Mustache… I was 26 (though my mustache is not MUCH fuller now) and shooting a movie called “The Sasquatch Gang” in which I played a character with a flimsy mustache (obviously) and a full gorgeous mullet (less obviously 🙂 Michael Keaton was (and is) one of my all-time favorite actors. I was fortunate enough to get to share some scenes with him in “Herbie: Fully Loaded” (here we are at the movie’s premiere 👆). He was kind, playful and incredibly quick-witted – he was everything you’d want him to be. I’d just bought a little camcorder when we were working together and everyday I’d bring it to work and stick it in people’s faces. Michael was incredibly cool about it and successfully hid his annoyance. Somewhere I have hours of footage of him goofing around and making people laugh – I gotta find it (might be fun to post for an upcoming #fbf or save it for a Michael Keaton documentary)
Last night @rothys invited Ryan Carson and Ryan Castalia and 2 non-Ryans to their Nolita store in support of a BIGGER, BETTER BOTTLE BILL (also try saying this 5 x fast), increasing the recycling refund from 5-10¢ 💙♻️ This small change could have a major impact, drastically improving recycling rates to keep 773 million bottles out of New York landfills (and our OCEANS) each year. I’ve liked wearing @rothys for purely selfish comfort reasons even before I found out what extraordinary things they were doing for the planet. 159M single-use plastic bottles have been transformed into their signature thread AND 548,748 pounds of ocean-bound marine plastic have been turned into the thread they use for their bags and accessories to date!!! Which is either the work of brilliant shoe manufacturers or a genie who came out of a bottle rubbed by a VERY eco-conscious person… like Rothy himself! Hmmm🤔 #rothyspartner
