Day 4 of 14– Mt. Aconcagua (22,800’). Arriving at Plaza de Mulas (Base Camp). A trip this high requires patience with weather and the effects of thin air. I have two books on the go. Reading aloud Steinbeck’s Travels with Charly in the tent, and listening to @asgreer Less is Lost— weirdly similar.
