As you may know, stopping the use of fossil fuels is one of the main issues that I advocate for in the climate justice fight. Switching to renewable green energy will protect our communities, save our wildlife, and help heal our planet.

May 5th is National Day of Awareness for #MissingandMurderedIndigenousWomen and People (MMIW/P) – murder is the 3rd leading cause of death for Native women, and the majority of these murders are committed by non-Native people on Native-owned land. This demands our attention and our action.
WE RIDE FOR HER is an urgent, character-driven documentary short following the journey of an Indigenous women’s motorcycle group riding to end the crisis of #MMIW/P. Today they are sharing a special #MoreToTalkAbout preview of the forces behind the film – featuring co-director Prairie Rose Seminole, Medicine Wheel Riders Lorna Cuny and Darlene Gomez, Not Invisible Act Commissioner and former North Dakota State Representative Ruth Buffalo, and actor/comedian and environmentalist Dallas Goldtooth, hosted by Level Forward’s Andrea Ambam.
Joined together in conversation, they traverse the origin story and journey of the #MedicineWheelRiders and uncover the actions that all of us must take to disrupt the erasure and advocate for the end of violence against Native Women.
