Michael Jackson Instagram – The world has lost a great man in Harry Belafonte.  As an artist, his music and acting entertained generations. But it was his lifelong commitment to equality, human rights and helping those in need that stood above all else. He once described himself as “an activist who happens to be an artist.” He befriended and marched alongside Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., tirelessly fought for Nelson Mandela’s freedom and was one of the driving forces with USA for Africa and in recording “We Are the World” to ease famine. He will be missed by all who knew him. Prayers and thoughts go out to his family and friends.
