I discovered a way to make my birthday last longer. I crossed the international dateline and celebrated my birthday today in Thailand, and tomorrow I’ll receive well wishes from everyone who is still in yesterday. I beat the system.
I’m resentful when actors use social media and their projects to promote their other projects. Unrelated, how have you been enjoying #therookieabc, #therookiefeds, and are you going to catch #guardiansofthegalaxyvol3 this weekend?
I couldn’t be more proud of this show, and I couldn’t be happier about coming back for another season. I know what I think is going to happen this next season, but you tell me yours!
I’m so wildly impressed with how @jamesgunn has made me care about a ragtag group of aliens working towards goals that have nothing to do with my life experience. By grounding it on earth with an amazing soundtrack, and keeping it about love and family, he’s made me a dedicated fan. I’m also somewhat alarmed at how forgetful James is. Ages ago, he told me he would put me in a movie. He did. Then he forgot, and put me in another, and forgot, and so on. Come and enjoy another #guardiansofthegalaxy movie extravaganza on May 5, and if you see James, don’t tell him I’m in it.
I went to see @theempirestripsback for the second time, and the signage outside has my tweet from the first time, seven years ago. They really make a convincing argument for going to the Dark Side.
As I grow older, I notice time moves differently. Much faster than it did when I was a lad. It reminds me to appreciate what is really important, to live in the moment when times are good, and to change the moment when they aren’t. On my birthday, I like to evaluate and take inventory. To that end, I’ve never been happier. Thank you, all of you, for your birthday wishes, but perhaps we should donate them to the less fortunate? All my wishes have already come true. (And thank you, Seamus, for this video. It made me laugh out loud. A true gift.)
I was just about to announce I’ll be in Portland for Fan Expo on the 18th and 19th, when I saw the guest page and it hit me: I’m living my dream. Look at these incredible talents I’m sharing digital space with. I’m beside myself. And Mr. Raimi.
Ever wonder what John Nolan is writing when at work? Wonder no more…
The talented Mr. @allanungar just posted this little gem- an alternate take from our Uncharted fan film. I forgot all about this! Made me laugh.
This is Michael Rooker. I first worked with him in 2006. He holds the record of “Actor I’ve worked with the most”. He’s brilliant, kind, talented, and can bench press your house. He’s also an excellent friend, and he’s on @therookieabc tonight. Thank you, Rooker. For bringing more Rooker into my life.

The holiday is over. The beard must go.
Ladies and gentlemen of the greater Oregon area. Although I was very much looking forward to seeing you all this weekend, I have fallen ill and will not be able to attend the Convention in Portland. I am crestfallen. I am heartbroken. I am also full of snot and have a fever. Next time!
The new “Netflix and Chill” is “Tuesday Night Rookie Nookie”. If you need a theme snack, please consider the Rookie Cookie. #therookieabc
What are you doing Sunday night? Trick question! Don’t answer, because I don’t care! It only matters what you’re doing Tuesday night- 8pm (7 central) TONIGHT! It’s our new night and time for #TheRookie and #TheRookieFeds on @abcnetwork! It’s a huge Crossover Event! And yes, you can still stream on Hulu.
This is me (bottom), my brother, Jeff (middle), and the fox at the back is my mom, God rest her soul (not dead). My dad was there, too- he took the picture. Family means everything to me, so I’m joining @nickkroll and the lovely folks at #bigmouthnetflix in raising awareness for a non-profit called You Gotta Believe, which facilitates teen adoptions. Their motto is “It’s Never Too Late For Family” and their goal is to work toward the day when no young person leaves foster care without the unconditional lifetime commitment of a family.
For every picture posted with the hashtag #ForeverFamily the campaign will donate money to help You Gotta Believe fulfill their mission.
Show me your old family pictures with the #ForeverFamily hashtag to help spread the word.
Yes, I’m going to be on @livekellyandryan, and yes, they spelled my name wrong. I’d like to take this opportunity to see if there is actually anyone out there who is named Nathon. This is YOUR moment!
Hey, Pop! Taste the rainbow.
The amazing folks @apexprotectionproject are doing incredible work. You too can help save the wolves by donating here: https://bit.ly/3UQxzUy

If you have ever had the pleasure of meeting @rainnwilson, you’d know what an interesting, intelligent, thoughtful, and concerned human he is. I’ve always enjoyed that his conversations are so soul nourishing, and that his first book is appropriately called Soul Pancake. Now, he’s reaching out with his second book, @soulboom. Yes, I’ve ordered it on Amazon, but I’m also going to buy a copy at a local independent bookstore, because reasons. And yes, I’m getting Rainn to sign them to put them on eBay. Enjoy!
