Soham Majumdar Instagram – “Fridge theke aam ke kheyeche” ( who took the mangoes from the fridge?), was a common exclamation by my mother, as literally I was obsessed with it, still am. I remember one time in Barrackpore ( where my grandfather lived ), is where I was trying to be a little adventurous by trying to climb trees to get mangoes, as our several attempts of throwing stones at it went amiss. Hence through peer pressure I was like “mein chadunga”. Mangoes are sweet, but peer pressure was painful and the memory still hurts my back. Yeh aam zindagi. | Posted on 17/Apr/2023 10:11:29
