Throwin’ it back. Riding other horses is always a privilege; each horse has many lessons to teach us and it’s up to us as the rider to adjust and learn how to ride THAT particular horse. This ain’t a one size fits all type of sport — It’s incredibly nuanced, intuitive, and really f**king challenging. Each new horse I ride I also gain a little more appreciation for the relationship I’ve built with Rem. A tremendous amount of patience, love, and persistence have gone into that boy. Here’s to all those equestrians out there that couldn’t take the easy path and had to create their own; it takes a hell of a lot of courage and belief in one’s self and in one’s horse. I’m proud to be an equestrian and feel very grateful to have this community to share my journey with. 🤙🏼🤍 #remingtontheottb

This horse. 🤍 We jumped bigger today and the height got to me. I made nearly every mistake in the book and put us in shitty situations. And ya know what? That’s okay. Failing is a crucial part of any sport, and I often learn the most when things go wrong. I got lucky today with a semi gnarly crash through a fence; we both made it out unscathed but holy hell isn’t that always eye opening? I’m feeling extra grateful for my partner and his pretty damn unshakable confidence in himself. Here’s to the big dog. 🍻 #remingtontheottb
