(Link in bio)

For 2023 I’ve decided to focus on some passions that have been on the back burner.
One of those things for me has been film photography.
The “why’s” of how it became something that was pushed to the side can be for another time, but I’ve been asked for years to make my prints available online and for all the unlisted reasons, just never got around to it till now.

I’ve chosen a handful for the moment and will have them available for the rest of the month while I sort through the rest.

If you’re someone who inquired over the years, thank you. You’re partially why I’ve sifted through my archives the last month.

As creative people, inquiries are often the biggest supportive nudges that push creatives into the action of making something.

And if you didn’t inquire, but you find yourself reading this thinking about your own hobbies, I encourage you to find those things this year that bring you creative joy. Any projects or desires you’ve had to learn something new in the form of a hobby that you feel might ignite a creative spark inside of you: do it.

Not for the sake of a New Years Resolution but for the sake of investing into the part of the brain that wants to create something.
Take that stuff simmering on the back burner and bring it to a boil in the front.

Conor Leslie Instagram – Things I did in September:
•took the mercury retrograde time to review things and get clear on *a lot*
•bought a landline (if you’re a Gen Z kid I’ll let you Google what that is.) but it’s kept me off my cell phone aka “tiny addictive digital tablet” while I’m at home. Cell phones were meant for going out after all. Not for sitting on your couch scrolling but I’ll rant about that another time.
• oh: and I adopted Roo a sister while at a comic con in Salt Lake City. True story.

Shoutout to @ruffpatchrescue for everything they do and for bringing this little girl into my life, unexpectedly but kismet-ly.

Her name is Juno.
I intuited Roo wanted a buddy about a month ago. Juno ticked all the boxes Roo needed in a sister.
She traveled in a car, on a plane and back to NYC to meet her big bro.

And as the last few slides prove: I was correct. This was them on Day 1 together💞

Highly recommend : reflection, landlines, and adopting dogs.

Let’s see what October has in store 🧡
