Ye un sab ke liye hai ..jo mujhe roz Dm karte hain. Jo likhte hain ki wo thak gaye hain, intezaar karke… thak gaye hain struggle karke .. rukna nahin… himmat nahin haarna… one step as it comes has been my mantra … hope you see the light after this tunnel sooooon 🥳☘️
After Dalljiet and Nik’s wedding in March, Dalljiet and 9 year old Jaydon relocated from Mumbai to Nairobi, Kenya. As excited as Jaydon was for this move, there were also a lot of changes in store for Jaydon – new school, new friends, new home and moving away from his loved ones. But another huge change for Jaydon was around his sleep routine.
I put together a plan for Dalljiet and Nik which entailed:
– Daytime preparation where we ran through diet, excercise, addressing fear of the dark and talking about expectations around bedtime and through the night
– Having a solid bedtime routine – shower, brushing teeth, getting dressed, bedtime story and relaxation excercise
– Establishing the optimum sleep environment
– Providing remote support to Dalljiet and Nik through the entire program via WhatsApp and phone calls
Fast forward 3 weeks and Jaydon is taking himself to bed and sleeping through the entire night completely unaided. Jaydon has completely transformed as a young boy and is now full of energy and so much happier as a result of sleeping so well! I couldn’t be prouder of him!
