I finish work in 2 weeks.
Iām mentally trying to prepare myself for this level of exhaustion again but around an actual school run for Mia while Gorka will be away filming Strictly š¤¦š¼āāļøš Shits getting real!
Any tips on the jump from 1 to 2 as well as the first starting school Greatly appreciated ā¬ļøš

Lots of DMs about my postpartum plans and what I did after Mia this morning (Iāve shared a few on stories) but thought it easier to do a post on here. The first slide was 3wks after my emergency section. I didnāt do anything other than walking for 15 weeks. I focused on my nutrition as I knew this would not only help my mental mood, but help my body heal quicker. Food is medicine šš¼ After my mummy Mot to check my pelvic floor & scar healing I began my sessions back @ultimateperformancelive with Evil Steve. As you can see, my first one back was hard & I was starting from scratch building up my strength & muscular definition again. I could only commit to two days a week with Steve so thatās when we decided to turn our then garage at the old house to a gym. It was then I was able to get sessions in more frequently (sometimes with Mia involved as you can see) š My weighted vest was a god send as sometimes with free weights I felt a little pressure on my scar. With the vest I didnāt. Slide 8 & 9 is all about my core. Postpartum is for life so I continued those exercises 3 times a week up until I fell pregnant with little man. Slide 10 was 7th July 2020. Exactly a year & 3 days after Mia was born. Thatās how long it took roughly to be 100% back! Hitting new PBs by a long shot, mentally strong and focused and enjoying it! And Iām putting no pressure on myself to do it any sooner this time around. The extra benefit this time is we have a gym at home. I wonāt need to have the extra 1hr either side of a session to get there and back. Doesnāt make the workouts any easier but saving time is a huge win for any parent! Our bodies are remarkable. And in growing & birthing a human itās done the biggest workout of its life. Be kind to it. I always say it, but itās hard to feel bad about a body youāre taking care of. Remember everyone is different, so donāt compare yourself. Comparison is the theft of joy. I know ladies who did it sooner than me, some who did it later. But we all did it. Around our own circumstances & routines we did it. And so will you! ā¤ļø

Yup šš¼āāļøš
Always so proud of Gorks. Be it his dancing, his training, his attention to me and Mia and his friends he always gives 100%.
Constantly traveling, performing, rehabbing, sleeping when possible and being the best dad and partner (when heās not annoying me with his laptop in bed, spanish tele, his drone or CrossFit documentaries) šLast night we watched the @strictlycomedancinglive and it was Brilliant!! All the pros the were top of their game as usual šš¼ 30 more shows to go before he joins me on my mat leave and we have some time together (by which point Iāll prob be begging for him to relocate to London for Strictly so I can have a break) šš
Final show done. Officially on maternity leave! And thatās how Iāve just left producer Matt and @miketoolan in the carpark š
Iāll be back on air with the gang next spring but until then, enjoy! And thanks for tuning in āš» š»
Firstly, her burp š
Secondly, in my head Mia was upright and eating by Christmas. Completely wasnāt š¤¦š¼āāļø
Crazy you forget how small they actually were! I remember sending Gorka updates every day on what she was doing š„¹
Can anyone (truthfully) actually remember the early early months without video reference? I canāt but maybe itās baby brain š„“
All about mobility, breathing and light cardio for me today. Itās getting to that stage where simple tasks are uncomfortable š Tying my laces, sitting on a couch thatās a little to soft makes getting up harder, even getting in and out of the car! Iām trying to keep everything as supple and loose as possible with good circulation. Focusing on my breathing I did the above stretches for around 20 mins combined in total. Followed by 20 mins air bike. Just a nice steady flow to plod along to thats left me feeling all the better for it. š§āāļø š¤° ā„ļø
Kit De Luca is my spirt animal this pregnancy. And Gorks is Vivienne trying to softly hit me with the truth š¤¦š¼āāļøš #imhungry
We canāt tell if @miketoolan likes @glouiseatkinsonās parting gift or not š¤·āāļøš
