Abhyanga
Abhyanga is a full-body ayurvedic massage that uses warm oil to promote overall health and well-being.
So many benefits –
Nourishes the entire body—decreases the effects of aging.
Imparts muscle tone and vigor to the dhatus (tissues) of the body.
Imparts a firmness to the limbs.
Lubricates the joints.
Increases circulation.
Stimulates the internal organs of the body.
Assists in elimination of impurities from the body.
I largely use locally sourced coconut oil. I would maybe mix some cedar wood oil or myrhh or rose essential oil, depending on how I’m feeling at that moment.
It’s a meditative ritual, almost like a ceremony with myself. It could be anytime of the day, for as long or as short as you would want it to be.
Hope this helps,
breathe well,
megha

I have gained and lost and gained and lost 10 kgs in the last few months. Literally a jump of 2-3 kgs every alternate day.
What seemed pretty easy just a few moons ago, doesn’t fly anymore. My body luckily still reacts very well to a well balanced routine, nutrition and protocols, but now I can’t cheat my way out of it. While this journey has mostly been private, I feel compelled to share it and let anyone who has been struggling know that you are not alone.
The period of 35-40 is an interesting one. I am 37, your hormones make a shift, your body adjusts to a new season, thyroid wants to come out to play, and all of it is a party happening inside the body.
It’s been a great time to study and put in practice to see what works for my body. Experiential and intuitive living is the way to go. I’m offering you the truth, there is no short cut to success and 70 % knowledge won’t fly, it’s dangerous, and so are people full of grit and consistency, for they know how to survive.
It’s a choice. You always have a choice.
Here I’m at 80 kgs deadlifts on my second day of the cycle. My body supported my mind, my mind – the body. I don’t endorse working out during your cycle. I endorse listening to your body and honouring all the seasons it goes through. But when it comes to doing the work – do it.
Wish you a strong week ahead 🔱
My deadlift form in this shot isn’t perfect. I was on my last set last reps. Don’t go by my form. I shot this so this made its way to the video.

Every book is magic. Every book hits different at a different point in life. Crazy how the same words, same line, same book can leave you feeling different every time you go back to it.
I’ve assembled my top 4 books, if you would like to start reading, or get back to it. Easy, different spheres, informational, sarcastic (obviously), and I promise you, you will not regret reading them.
Vol 1 :
Breath by James Nestor :
Delves into the history of breathing practices, including ancient yogic and Taoist techniques, and examines how different breathing patterns can affect the body and mind. He also explores the ways in which modern habits, such as mouth breathing and slouching, can negatively impact breathing and overall health. He does insights into the benefits of proper breathing, such as improved immune function, reduced stress levels, and enhanced athletic performance.
The Subtle Art of Not Giving a Fuck by Mark Manson :
Whether you think you need to read this one or not, doesn’t matter, the answer is yes, you need to. It hits different every time I go back to it. It has a unique perspective on personal growth and happiness, encouraging readers to stop striving for constant positivity and instead embrace their struggles and negative experiences.
Fast Like A Girl by Mindy Peltz :
I have gone on and on about this one on my socials. The book explores how women’s hormones can impact their athletic performance and overall health, and provides guidance on how to optimize exercise and nutrition based on the menstrual cycle. If you sync your cycle with your output socially, personally and personally, you will realise your monthly cycle is your super power.
The Tao of Health, Sex and Longevity by Daniel Reid :
I like how the book offers a comprehensive and accessible introduction to traditional Chinese medicine and Taoist philosophy. He covers a wide range of topics related to health, including nutrition, exercise, meditation, and sexual health. Simple changes leading to high returns in your daily routine.
Hope this helps and gets you started.

Biohacking : DNA testing
I recently took a DNA test with @selfdecode and was able to understand my body, my genes and mutations so much better. It’s amazing to know what may come up so I can work towards rectifying it. My hormone health was up loud and clear and I became aware of what has to be done.
Joe Cohen ( @mrbiohacker ) has one of the top supplementation experts in the world. He has meticulously designed each supplement for the betterment of us all and I personally am a fan of Joes Mood Daily.
Hope this makes you more aware
