Fresh from a standout performance in The Watcher and back on set for Feud: Capote’s Women, twice Oscar-nominated actor @naomiwatts is also turning her hand to something entirely new: supporting and educating women through menopause. Her menopause wellness company and community, @iam_stripes, launched its first 11 products in October 2022.
“We have the products to support women, but really the brand is three-pronged,” says Watts. “We want to have a community, because that’s half the solve of the problem, just knowing that somebody’s out there going through the same stuff that you are going through. Then there’s the education piece; we have doctors on our advisory board and we always want to be completely up to date with the current research, because obviously it’s evolving now even more, as this is the first time the community has come together and said, ‘I deserve support and the right treatment.’”

Happy International Women’s Day! Taking this moment to celebrate the incredible strides women have made in taking control of their health and wellbeing. Despite historical challenges and neglect from the healthcare industry, women are speaking up and demanding more for themselves.
We’ve faced significant challenges in menopause care. For far too long it’s been treated as a taboo subject, and we’ve been left to suffer through the physical and emotional symptoms without adequate support or treatment options.
With the advent of the internet, women everywhere are sharing their stories. We’re pushing for better research, and insisting that our voices be heard.
I also want to single out and celebrate these incredible, fearless women from the @iamstripes campaign shoot last year. Still pinching myself!
