Despite historical challenges and neglect from the healthcare industry, women are speaking up and demanding more for themselves. We’ve faced significant challenges in menopause care. For far too long it’s been treated as a taboo subject, and we’ve been left to suffer through the physical and emotional symptoms without adequate support or treatment options. With the advent of the internet, women everywhere are sharing their stories. We’re pushing for better research, and insisting that our voices be heard. I also want to single out and celebrate these incredible, fearless women from the @iamstripes campaign shoot last year. Still pinching myself! We’ve still got a long ways to go!
