Okay I never gush on here but I just wanted to say a big hearty thank you to everyone who follows me on here. This past week has been one of the biggest high/lows of my whole life. But I’m so proud of this guy in the photo. He has so much more strength than I ever thought. And he has it because of all the love in his life. So thank you thank you for always leading with love. Last week before the Tony’s. I’ve always wanted to be respected by other actors. But the main thing I’ve taken from this whole journey is that you must respect yourself to make it through. This thing, this life is no joke. And yet we (I) are still the lucky ones. Thank you all for being there for me during the most exhilarating and exhausting moment of my life. And thank you @nytimes for being nice (this time!!!) and asking to share publicly something deeply personal. It doesn’t come natural for me, but neither does any of the great things in my life. In anticipation of opening tomorrow, here’s a lil bit of me and @ms.uzele singing on @goodmorningamerica last week. This has been such a dream come true, in a way that is so foundational to my entire history. I hope you all see that in everything I, and this EXTRAORDINARY company, do up on that stage.
