People used to tell me who to be, how to hold myself, how I shouldn’t speak so that people wouldn’t know i was “Gay”, pose in pictures, essentially everything that made me ME… was wrong. And unfortunately on a massively public scale. It made me hate myself. It was so hard to have real friendships, book work, pay my bills, celebrate this epic love story I’ve been lucky to have in my life. What the outside world viewed as “Success” didn’t work for me. Since coming out… I’ve never been busier in my work, had better friendships and even love. @hrhblakeknight and I have never been happier. For those in the world who are having a hard time because the world is either telling you to not be yourself. Or people who claim to care about you coaching you on how to hide who you really are. I’m sorry. It feels horrible and is very hard to get through. Please know that for as many awful people in the world there are. There’s so many who will love you for your honest self. It may be hard to see that when you’re going through it but take it from someone who has quite literally been through that. It gets better. There’s a huge LGBT family who loves you for you. Just as you are. Scars and all. When you’re ready. We are here. Sending love to anyone who needs some today. ♥️♥️♥️
