And what better way to celebrate than by teaching everyone how to say our captain’s name like a pro? It’s ‘loo-fee,’ not ‘luh-fee’ or ‘luff-aye’ like you’re trying too hard. So let’s get this party started and show the world who’s captain.

Iñaki Godoy Instagram - Day 80: We did it !!! When I got here, I didn’t know anything about sailing, but now… I Know a little bit !!! 😂 This has been such an adventure. I sailed, learned, participated in a regatta, and cleaned A LOT (so much cleaning). I’m excited about going back home, but I know the ocean will stay with me forever, giving me “sea legs” for a life time. There is a lot of things I could say about this trip, but for now just know: There is always a rainbow at the end of every storm, I know that from experience. Literally, I saw it !!!!

Day 80: We did it !!! When I got here, I didn’t know anything about sailing, but now… I Know a little bit !!! 😂 This has been such an adventure. I sailed, learned, participated in a regatta, and cleaned A LOT (so much cleaning). I’m excited about going back home, but I know the ocean will stay with me forever, giving me “sea legs” for a life time. Iñaki Godoy Instagram - Day 52: I can’t believe we are more than halfway through this adventure, the days seem to go by so fast. After a lot of hard work, I’m finally beginning to understand how to live and sail in this ship. Just a few days ago, I led the group that raised the main, which was very exciting. Ive also navigated my way trough the ocean at the middle of the night using only a star and a compass, which felt awesome. Currently, I’m learning how to use maps and coordinates, which is very confusing. But I’m sure that with time, I will get better at it. I feel very grateful that I get to travel to a lot of different places, which makes me think: If you could travel anywhere, where would you go and why ? Me personally, I would love to visit Japan soon, it has become a very important part of my life and I would like to know it better. Sending you all a huge hug !!!!!!

Iñaki Godoy Instagram - I decided to embark on my ship adventure for a lot of reasons, but one of my biggest inspirations to do this was my little sister Mia. My sister has been a very important role model for me my entire life, and she actually went on her own ship adventure before I even knew I was going to do it myself. She has been at sea for almost a year now, and after experiencing what that is I can tell you I’m REALLY PROUD OF HER. She is still sailing to this day, and even when I’m done with my 80 days she will continue being on her ship. I miss her and I can’t wait to see her soon. I wonder how different our experiences may be !!! Sending a big hug to everyone, and if there’s anyone you appreciate make sure to let them know :)
