Film is a truly collaborative art form and the writer/director’s role is often overrated. This story was inspired and driven by Sophie’s experiences, sense of humour, and unique way of taking on the world. I just did my best to wrangle that energy into something under fifteen minutes. Without Alex and Soph, I never would have dreamed of making a short in London, especially with such a wildly accomplished and passionate crew. They are the best people you could imagine wading through mud and milkshakes with.
