Went to my first Wrestlemania on April 1, 1990… I was a Hulk Hogan guy. Warrior beat him. Went again on March 17, 2002… I was still a Hulk Hogan guy. The Rock beat him. On April 3, 2016 I was in the house and all in on Triple H. Roman beat him. I am a huge Undertaker fan… I was front row on April 2, 2017 when Roman retired him. Basically… every Mania that I go to my heart gets ripped out and this weekend was no different. I didn’t think Cody was going to lose. Like… it didn’t cross my mind until my buddy Zaco brought it up as a possibility Sunday morning.
All that being said…
The @wwe are consistently the most thoughtful and generous people. This was legitimately one of the greatest weekends of my entire life. I am forever grateful to them.
Like… how do you top this weekend?
The answer: In a couple of years I get a Mania match and tell my son (he’ll be 3 or 4) that I’m going to win… then I’ll lose. Clean. And he’ll have his heart ripped out. That’ll top this weekend. Barely. Los Angeles, California
