4 things I did this week to fill my cup that had nothing to do with work:
1. I went to see we Will Rock You at the coliseum to support my friend @brendaedwardsglobal who as you can see was AWESOME! Surprise guest was #BrianMay – what a treat! It was an amazing night, not just the incredible show, but getting to spend time with our friends as well. Our goal of becoming more sociable is definitely happening!
2. This week’s telly show is @appletv #Loot. It filled the gap left by #tedlasso (I loved that show SO MUCH) as it is another series with heart and soul. I love #mayarudolf @mjrodriguez7 #natfaxton in fact everyone in it and can’t wait for the next series!
3. Sunbathed in the garden- thank you @thebodycampofficial for the handy hat. 🧢
4. Then we had more friends round for sundowners. @nickfeeneycoach makes the BEST espresso martinis and rum punch.

Hello! I hope you’re all enjoying the sunshine? 😎
Just wanted to let you know that tomorrow’s midlife conversation is all about Gut Health. Looking after your tummy so it looks after YOU.
I am joined by the incredible @theguthealthdoctor Dr Megan Rossi who knows a thing or two when it comes to adapting what we are already doing into ways that work better for us. Shes just awesome, and I know you’re going to lover her and her brilliant down to earth advice.
If you’d like to join us, and hear the Midlife Conversation in full, click the link in my bio*👆See you tomorrow at 10!
*Please note, this is a private, women only group 🙂
My guest on this week’s Midlife Conversations is Katie Taylor, the Founder of The Latte Lounge, an online community for women over 40 which offers support, expert information and advice you can trust. Katie formed the group when she found herself at 43 experiencing horrific menopausal symptoms which left her debilitated and ill. Once she finally received the diagnosis that she was menopausal and was able to take steps towards feeling better, she decided to share her experiences on Facebook to help others. The Latte Lounge was born, and seven years later it is going strong; offering not just support to women in their personal life, but also to employers who want to be more menopause aware, and to the gynaecological cancer charity The Eve Appeal.
Join me tomorrow, live at 10am on Facebook – the link to join is in my bio.

4 things I did to fill my cup that had nothing to do with work.
1. Ok this picture was taken at work, but it still counts because it meant I got to go for a lovely walk afterwards with my friend Simone, aka @makeupcouk who is the person responsible for making me look so glam…
2. I did an instagram live with Nick for his weekly Coaches, Coffee and Conversation which didn’t feel like work as it was just us chatting in our kitchen, which we do every day. But it was a lot of fun to do record our conversation this time – I think we will be doing this more often!
3. Saturday ended up being a FANTASTIC day of accidental fun. We drove to Rye to visit our lovely friends @nickede and @mrdrewnaylor to try out @ryefishmarket We joined them and @keithfowler and @reallife_adventures for some fresh oysters, crab rolls and yummy rosé wine. Which led to us ‘popping’ over to their house. Which led to more rosé wine, more delicious food and a walk along the beach that led to myself and Kingsley ending up knee-deep in stinky black gooey sand which wasn’t quite as lovely but interestingly after those ‘few rosé wines’ we found hilarious.
4. Breakfast of champions the morning after the day before. Coffee and a Magnum. Spent today barely moving, but as it was sunny I just pretended I was on holiday so it was all ok…

A very special edition of Coaches, Coffee and Conversation this week. Firstly because my guest coach was my lovely wife, wingman and business partner @andreamclean1
Secondly because this was recorded last night so there was no coffee, just sleepy tea 🫖
We spoke about…
🔵 How to work together
🔵 3 pillars to deal with stress
🔵 Dealing with exam pressures as an adult
🔵 Knowing when to stop
🔵 What’s for you won’t go by you.
If listening to this, you have some further questions, comment below or DM us. We answer all your questions.
Next week we are back live at 11am for more Coaches, Coffee and Conversation ☕️

Mika Simmons is an actress, writer, director and host of The Happy Vagina Podcast, covering women’s physical and mental health, in particular sexual health issues. It started as a means to raise awareness of gynaecological health, following her mother’s early death from ovarian cancer, and has since become a global sensation, with A list guests such as Goop founder Gwyneth Paltrow and Dirty Dancing actress Jennifer Grey joining Mika to share their thoughts on eliminating shame around sex and intimacy.
Mika joined me to talk about her early life as a child of activists, the damage that woke culture is doing to freedom of speech in the activist space, the power of perspective, and how the one life lesson we can all learn is to loosen our tight grip on what we want, to allow what is meant to be…

Four things I did to fill my cup this week that had nothing to do with work:
1. I walked a lot. I’m really trying to get my step count up and the brighter days are really helping. I got a new pair of shoes this week too, which is as exciting at 53 as it is when you’re 13. )They were #gifted from @golaclassics 🙏)
2. It meant I spent more time being around greenery, which is always good for the soul. This little stretch of river always makes me happy. I used to come here when Amy was a toddler, with Jackson, my beautiful dog. They’d both run straight in (it’s really shallow) and paddle and splash, and it was just gorgeous to watch. I almost feel like I can still see them there when I see the sparkling water. It sounds so peaceful as well.
3. We went to see Black Panther with a live orchestra at The Royal Albert Hall. It’s one of my favourite places to go in London, it always feels like a treat.
4. We hosted an afternoon of food and fun for our friends, and the sun came out! Thank you Gemma and Rubi for the pavlova and cake!!! I am now basically made of cake, I’ve eaten so much of it today. I’m a real home body, and I love having people over rather than going out. It means a) comfy footwear b)my own loo c) I can eat food I like. Although today was even better because guests arrived WITH CAKE, so I literally lived my best life this afternoon with lovely people, in the sunshine, AND I’m already in my slippers watching telly. #winning

It was nice to go ‘out out’ tonight… What a lovely experience! We watched the iconic Black Panther film at the Royal Albert Hall with and a live orchestra- it was just magical.
