Caitríona Balfe Instagram – World Child Cancer is pleased to announce that on Sunday 4th June, we will be launching an appeal on BBC Radio 4. By delivering the message of World Child Cancer to a wider audience, we hope that more people will recognise the importance of reducing the global cancer care gap and help us in achieving our goal.

I will be sharing Cynthia’s story, one of the children that World Child Cancer has supported, and my experience of working with World Child Cancer. In 2016 I accompanied World Child Cancer to Ghana to meet the team there and see first-hand what they do. After witnessing the bravery of the children in Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital, I clearly saw the disparity in diagnosis and treatment between high-income countries like the UK and countries such as Ghana.

Please tune in to Radio 4 on Sunday 4th June to show your support.
