Diana Silvers Instagram – I’ve heard this Roy Orbison song hundreds of times and yet, hearing it in the context of Blue Velvet (David Lynch), it was as if I heard it for the first time. “In dreams, I walk with you… In dreams, I talk with you.. In dreams, you’re mine all of the time..” Dennis Hopper gives a disturbing and moving performance particularly in both In Dreams sequences. I’m not saying anything groundbreaking, but I deeply appreciate Lynch’s exploration of the unconscious world.. In dreams.. we are haunted by the psychological rather than the physical.
