@schoolofrockvancouver is a different kind of school because it’s performance-based and requires you to get up and perform in front of actual HUMAN BEINGS after four months. And every week during those four months, in addition to your music lessons, you rehearse with an actual band made up of other students.

So, like is said, a few weeks ago, I decided to join. And like a lunatic, I joined a month before their live show….which meant I had to sing in front of an actual audience with less than a month to learn how to sing….

We had our show this last Sunday and it was the best night ever!! So. Much. Fun. I got to sing the amazing songs “Oh Darling” & “Hey Jude” by this band you may have heard of, ‘The Beatles’?…So like no pressure 😆
•
I wasn’t perfect, I made mistakes, but mostly, I had a BLAST! And I can’t wait to do it again. The journey was amazing. And I’m incredibly grateful that places like this exist.
•
Anyway I just wanted to say that if there’s something you’ve always dreamed of doing in your life, try and find a way to do it. Turn your Dreams into Action.
It’s okay to fail.
