@jimbyrdcat: my longest working relationship… we go way back to the 20th century 🤣🤣🤣 Jim has been a beacon of light reminding all of us indie filmmakers to just keep going. Or in the words of the Duplass Brothers, “The cavalry is not coming.” Don’t wait for Hollywood, don’t wait for permission.. just create. And create from that intimate, vulnerable, uniquely weird space inside ourselves that has been untainted by external opinions, social convention, or what’s “right.” There’s no fucking “right” in art. Just what’s true to you. Thank you Jim ❤️

The two badass women behind Jim: @laura.x.evans and #AlyssaByrkit who believe in art so deeply and who are willing to strap on a camera half the size of them because we need to get the shot. These are the women who 👏🏽 make 👏🏽 shit 👏🏽 happen and are my heroes

And my BF @mark_poletti and BFF @ms.morgie who, within 30 seconds of me telling them we got into @sxsw was like “I’ll be there.” And who showed up, held my hand, held my bags, and cheered me on from day 1 🥺

And @bowmantheofficial who knew I didn’t have any time to think about wtf Im supposed to wear. So, without me asking, he went out and bought me the dress and shoes I wore for press because he is that kind of ride or die.
