The Marathon. 26.2 miles. Three hours forty two minutes and three seconds. Five months and 554.7 miles of training all by myself. Making the decision to train for and run this big of a race all by myself was difficult, but I’m so glad that I did it. Shoutout to all the people who helped me get to the big day. 1. God. Thank you for giving me this body that I can use to honor you through running. 2. Coach Caulfield for putting together a training program and being so helpful in teaching me everything I needed to know about nutrition and all the little things to make this Marathon possible. 3. My family and Andy for encouraging me and biking alongside me during long runs and constantly making sure I had everything I needed during training and on race day!
