Von dem Mega-Gasprojekt betroffen sind besonders der Montebello Marine Park und das Dampier-Archipel – das Gebiet mit der wohl größten marinen Artenvielfalt Westaustraliens. Neben Walen sind durch das Mega-Gasprojekt auch Haie, Dugongs, Meeresschildkröten und Korallen bedroht – viele davon stehen auf der Roten Liste gefährdeter Arten. 🦈🪸🐠🐋😭

Bereits der Regelbetrieb würde die wunderschöne Meeresumwelt mit Lärm und Verschmutzungen verpesten. Über all dem schwebt zudem die enorme Gefahr verheerender Unfälle! Die Folgen für die Artenvielfalt wären fatal.💥😤🤬

Noch haben wir die Chance, das zerstörerische Projekt zu verhindern!

The areas affected include the Montebello Marine Park and the Dampier Archipelago – a marine biodiversity HOTSPOT of Australia . In addition to whales, other animals such as sharks, dugongs, sea turtles and corals are threatened by the mega gas project. Many of them are already on the Red List of Threatened Species. 🦈🪸🐠🐋😭

The regular operation alone would pollute the beautiful marine environment with noise and contaminants. Last but not least: There is a constant enormous danger of fatal accidents: The consequences for biodiversity and the environment would be devastating!

Good news: We still have the chance to prevent this destructive project!
