“I let all facets of my individuality speak with confidence” For AAPI Month, I’m so grateful to have joined with @nike & @steezystudio on their collab to celebrate our heritage and what it means to be an AAPI womxn. Joining this project has given me the space to fully reflect on who I am as a young Filipina woman in this lifetime and what a blessing it is to not only represent my heritage but to celebrate some of the amazing women in my life that are Filipina or a part of the AAPI community. This affirmation above has been a reminder to unapologetically show all parts of me as this would fuel the connections I want to build around me, whether on a personal level or through my art, like dance. Thank you again Nike and Steezy for sharing my story, it truly means the world to have yall create a safe space for us to share and be heard. Thank you for celebrating us. Tragic by @jazminesullivan i’ve been very blessed to have shared some special pieces with my community the past few months and i’m just coming around to sharing them HAHA! but here’s one that i wanted to share as it was my first @platformdanceshowcase project!!! at this time, it’s been a minute since i’ve been able to grab a few of my talented friends, put some wiggles on them, and share the stage with them. i love this cast so much and i’m truly grateful for their energy and talent 🤍
