💛 Connecting with Creativity 💛 Do you have a creative project that is calling to be nurtured? Join this weekend retreat to connect with your creativity, gain awareness of your blocks, and overcome obstacles in an encouraging environment. Through movement, journaling, peer circles, and more, we will celebrate authentic expression and connect deeper to our creative truths. Come as yourself. Your full self. For yourself… This event is a gender expansive safe place. Let’s plant and water our seeds of creativity, as we dive into our process and create magic together! Part of your ticket sale will go to support the artists/facilitators, as well as a donation to Start the Wave to continue its impactful work. This event is taking place just outside of Nashville, TN (Antioch) at the Nelson Andrews Leadership Center located on the Joe C. Davis Outdoor Center Campus. The event begins Friday the 14th October at 4pm and ends Sunday the 16th October at 6pm. This event is limited to 190 Attendees (plus volunteers and facilitators). Huge appreciation to all those that contributed and made this possible. As before, our maximum donation amount is $5000 USD (including transfer fees); please keep this in mind when evaluating your project’s needs. Start the Wave prioritizes grassroots initiatives working with an intersectional, equitable and community-based approach led by the following individuals: — Folx of the Global Majority/BIPOC (Black, Indigenous and other People of Colour) — Disabled Seen and/or Unseen. — TGNCI (Transgender, Gender Non-Conforming, Intersex) You can find our Projects Submissions page on our website (link in bio).
