We ended prom season with a bang. @parker.whitfield your mom and dad are so proud of you. Enjoy your time in college. We couldn’t have asked for a better daughter. @nolimitfuqua I know you make your mother and father just as proud. @alldondre @nolimitfuqua @iamlelarochon @cairoscustomevents as always you did your thing. The balloon arrangement was fire. @makeupbyhendra you murdered her face. Thank you as always. @liza_vassell thank you for styling my baby like a Queen.
Yes we are!!!! Miami mood with my date and girlfriend of 25 years @sallirichwhit at our favorite event every year @americanblackfilmfestival
This is my tribe! I am the father. I am the leader. It is the hardest job in the world but it is the most rewarding. It is the most death defying and it is by far the most gratifying. In the immortal words of my brother @thedavidaarnold (may he rest in eternal peace) “IT AIN’T FOR THE WEAK”! To every man who walks out his assignment as a father, biological or not, I honor you!!! You are OPTIONAL. You are NECESSARY!!!!! Happy fathers day!
Unfortunately, too many people who see this post will think that it is suggesting that men are more important than women. And that’s one of the biggest problems we have in our society. We are so worried about being in competition with each other that we’re not paying attention to how we could be in concert with each other. If you were making a cake two of the key ingredients in a cake are flour and eggs. Because they are the chief binders of the other ingredients. They are the thing that keeps the cake from falling apart. It doesn’t mean that one is more important than the other , it simply means that when one isn’t present something is going to go terribly wrong with that cake. When a father isn’t present, something is going to go extremely wrong with that daughter or son. And that’s not a feeling that is a fact!!!!! Dennis Prager touches so many things that I often talk about. And one of those things that is so dynamic is that a boy needs a model that he can mirror. And that a girl needs to find safety and security in her father, or she will go around trying to find it in other men. Men, I have said this in the past and I will continue to say it—you are not optional ! you are necessary!!!
In one of our upcoming episodes of The HueMAN Podcast (on You Tube) we talk about the affects of RACISM on Black and Brown men. This is a clear demonstration of what men of our Hue are denied of of daily-our hueMANity! When any person is treated as less than human it is devastating. But somehow when a Black man is treated less than HUeMAN, society seems to think it devastating for us. Now think about how we have to endure this kind of treatment on a regular basis and what the affects are. Please go to our channel and subscribe for conscious content. “Shut up!!!” Mrs Serita Jakes channeled Little Richard when she succinctly broke down marital commitment.
I love my people. Black people have been doing this throughout history. Black people have been serving humanity since the beginning of time. Ironically, Black people have been the target of inhumane treatment all over the world, despite being the earth’s caretaker! I am proud of being cut from this cloth…I am proud to be a Black man!!!!✊🏽👑
I don’t attempt to try to get through to the “patriots” of this country who consistently pretend not to get it. So my intention with this post is to feed those who simply don’t understand how the effects of slavery are still very much prevalent in today’s society. Brother Bryan Stevenson eloquently and accurately states that slavery didn’t end it just evolved. No statement could be truer than that. #DividedStatesOfAmerica Part of #JonStewart ‘s podcast episode, “America needs to admit how racist it is.” #BryanStevenson
Recently my sister @iamjulieharnold shared this video with me. I never saw it before. All I remember was he said there were so many things he wanted to talk about after reading it. Seeing this- his excitement and enthusiasm about my work lifted me in a great way. His stand up class taught me how to be a better comedian and I pray that my book helped him to become a better man. @thedavidaarnold I’m missing you my friend. I’m honoring you and the father that you have been to your babies @anna_grace_arnold and @ashlyn_arnold01 I know they have many men covering them but you KNOW I got them too! ✊🏽👑
As a MAN, my life is about facilitating the growth of my family. As I wrote on my book, that sacrifice is the assignment of every man!!!! And sometimes that sacrifice may even be on your own birthday! Today, as I celebrate my birth, I additionally celebrate every man that accepts and executes this divine assignment. #ManhoodMatriculation #MaleVsMan @malevsman
My sister @realmichellehurd breaking it all the way down. I love the ART that I do in this industry but I hate the BUSINESS of this industry. Most people don’t make the kind of money that you think they make. That’s a very small percentage of us. Most people that are seen guest starring on television are often times living worse off than the people watching them. And this industry doesn’t give a damn!!!! Never has…smh.
🎥 @thehueman_experience From being abducted to receiving negligent health care, our Black women NEED us Black men to protect them and stand for them!!!!! So don’t be fooled when you hear the noise coming from social media and a few misguided representatives that tell you that they DON’T need us!!!! We see proof of the contrary on a daily basis. Men of our hue were meant to be the protector of safety and the provider of stability! The HueMAN podcast on You Tube featuring @alldondre @antoniodixonphotography
Wow!!!!! One of the best days of my life finally came today!!!!! There is a saying about young boys and there progression in life -“the only person who will happy that you are better than him, is your father!!!!” And this couldn’t be a truer statement. I try to be as good as I can be to try to give my son a bar that he can strive to surpass. And that time is here. I couldn’t be happier or prouder of you, son. @drewhitfield_ I love you like you’ll never understand until you have a child of your own. Keep striving and keep kicking my butt. It will serve as a reminder to me that you are working hard!!!! 👑 #ProudDad
I have a firm stance on this. It strikes up so much that is relevant to the state of relationships between men and women. Before you hear from me, let me hear from you. What are your thoughts? Agree or disagree?
And this is why our platform on You Tube is called the The HueMAN podcast. Because men of our hue (Black and Brown) are assailed and assaulted daily like no other. I agree with the brother who was ticketed unlawfully and unnecessarily—the police officer was “acting like a DICKtator!” My apologies for the misspell. I blame Siri… 🎥 @realdlhughley @thehueman_experience @antoniodixonphotography
Welcome to The HueMAN Podcast! We are building a digital platform with the intention of having much needed impact on men of hue and the issues that affect us. Black and brown men face some very specialized challenges in this country and the world at large. And there are few platforms that are dedicated to addressing these challenges. We hope you will join us on The HueMAN Podcast channel (You Tube) for this endeavor of restoration and elevation. And please help us expand this village of change by hitting the “Like” and “Subscribe” options. Sincerely, Your brothers, Dondré Whitfield & Antonio Dixon @alldondre @antoniodixonofficial
This man was one of my models for manhood! He taught me how to stand up for what’s right. Particularly when it’s not the “right” time. (Meaning, when it’s convenient) He taught me to fight for those that can’t fight for themselves. He taught me how to use my platform for the sake of my people. All this is the legacy of his greatness. And it has nothing to do with football. And that’s how I pray that I’m remembered. For being a man and a model that others should mirror. Rest easy brother King ✊🏽👑
After losing my best friend, almost nineteen years ago, I realized two things:: 1-that life is wayyyy too short 2-too many of us waste what is already way too short. There is a huge difference between living and existing. LIVING, is maximizing your life experience. EXISTING, is waiting to die. Far too many of us never live life to the fullest for fear of what others think and the HUMILIATION of not meeting other people’s approval. And one of the keys to life is LOVE!!!! And too many of us never fully commit to LOVE because we are afraid of REJECTION. So we being cheated out of a great life due to the fear of humiliation and rejection we receive from others. And it’s all due to our thoughts about how we are perceived. The truth is we should NEVER care what people think about the way we LIVE and LOVE. If you are struggling with paralyzing thoughts, just remind yourself that YOU are far more important than other people’s thoughts about you. And that other people are far more invested in thinking of themselves rather than thinking of you. So you’re assignment everyday is to LIVE and LOVE like today is your last day!!!

While we were playing the fantastic Big Horn country club, my son, and I had a little bit of a long drive challenge. And dad had to put it on his Titleist with my ping G430 boom.
