Never thought music would take me here. Loved every minute. Beautiful people and energy all around. Thank you Saudi Arabia 🇸🇦 ❤️ Riyadh, Saudi Arabia
My day walking the beautiful streets of Cluj-Napoca Romania 🇷🇴. My favorite part was meeting the woman with the puppet. She had a little shop that she just moved into 3 weeks ago and hand makes every one. I couldn’t help but marvel at the idea of making animal puppets and taking it to the level of “You know what, I’m bout to open up a store for these.” She must love it. I bought the kids each a carefully selected animal and one that @baba_g and I can share. She had no idea that I’ll be performing in front of 45,000 people in a couple hours. I love that. We’re all just humans, working, making stuff, selling our art and hoping it connects. If we’re lucky we find joy and purpose making the things that put food on our table. She probably will never see this. But I really respect her artistry and what she’s doing. I think puppets are fucking dope and hers have the most charming personalities. I love the life, the accents and the character that comes to life when you put a puppet on your hand. I still have my monkey puppet “Fooey” from when I was a kid. I put him on every once and while and try to explain to the kids how lit the 1980’s were. If you’re in Cluj Romania find her. She’s a magic maker. She reminded me…All it takes is an idea, executing and repeating. Trying. That’s all we have to do.
