Mike Rowe Instagram – I met Stu two years ago shooting Dirty Jobs, when he allowed me to remove the spleen from an unfortunate patient under conditions best described as extraordinary. If you saw that episode, (and even if you didn’t,) this is the story behind the story. And it’s a doozy. Link in bio.
Mike Rowe Instagram – The creativity in this group continues to impress. So many great suggestions among the 6,200 folks who contributed, and lots of Photoshop skills far greater than my own. Doug Swan’s magnificent use of a breaching Great White stood out, as did Jesse Schieuer’s shark in a sharkskin suit. Tami Bellman turned me into a Manet or a Van Gogh, which I liked very much, while Laura Unger’s professional skill with graphics was impossible to overlook. Unfortunately, the lawyers won’t let me use any of these images in an actual ad since we don’t own the copyright on the images or logos therein. @SharkWeek starts tomorrow. I will not be hosting. I’ll be in Portland, sipping @KnobelWhiskey and if you’d like to join me (in spirit), you may pick up a bottle – link in bio. Proceeds benefit @mikeroweworks .
